Trilby Jeeves

Trilby Jeeves is an actor, director, instructor, and writer from Vancouver and PEI. After studying at “Le Conservatoire d’Art Dramatique” in Quebec City, she went on to perform and direct in both languages across Canada. As well as performing up to 40 plays, including her own one-woman show, “Dusty Shoes”, she has worked for 34 years off and on as a costumer/set supervisor in the theatre and film industry. For 16 years she has facilitated her Buffoonery Workshops for actors (VanArts and VFS) and for team building in the private sector. Trilby also co-created directing workshops for those seeking to better direct actors. Supported by FilmPEI, she wrote and directed her first award-winning short film, The Rolling Pin, and has taught on-camera acting classes. Currently, Trilby lives in Prince Edward Island where she is getting back to her acting and writing, managing her family’s wooded property and looking after her Mum and cat, Mister Milton.
