Discover Canada’s Next Generation of Theatre Artists

The TAEA Unified Audition and Portfolio Portal gives participating postsecondary institutions one convenient place to discover prospective students from across Canada.

Students pursuing performance, musical theatre, theatre production, technical theatre, design, film, and related disciplines upload their self-tapes, slates, audition materials, and portfolios. Participating institutions receive a private link providing full access to the submissions.

Your faculty can review candidates, invite students to an audition or portfolio review, arrange an interview, encourage them to apply, or incorporate the materials into your institution’s established recruitment process.

Students understand that participation does not replace your institution’s application, admission, academic, or audition requirements. The portal provides an additional opportunity for your program to identify promising students and begin a direct conversation with them.

Student submissions close on February 1. Participating institutions will then receive a unique access link.

By joining, TAEA will proudly display your institution’s logo to indicate participation.
